Questions, feedback, or a story about your bacon? We’re here for all of it.
Oven-baked tips, timing, and answers to common questions—straight from the folks who’ve been doing it right since 1922.
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Place desired number of slices on a foil-lined baking sheet.
3. Cook for 18 to 26 minutes or to desired crispness.
4. For pan frying cook 3 minutes per side at 340°F.
Tip: Thicker cuts may take a little longer—but that’s where the flavor comes from.
Baking time depends on thickness and how you like your bacon. We recommend starting to check at 18 minutes and continuing up to 26 minutes. Thicker cuts will need more time but reward you with better texture and flavor.
375°F is our recommended temperature for even cooking and optimal texture.
Parchment paper can help with cleanup, but it’s optional. Cooking directly on the pan allows the bacon to render and crisp naturally.
You can, but for best flavor and texture, we recommend the oven. Microwave cooking doesn’t allow fat to render the same way or bring out the real wood-smoked flavor Wright is known for.
